WHO COLLECTS DUES AND CHARGES
Especially in the rural areas. The local government collected revenue from farmers bringing their produce to the market to sell. Once you buy any reasonable quantity, you will pay different types of charges at that point. On your way to your final destination, you will pay for crossing with your goods to each state. All that did not include roadblocks and checkpoints, compulsory payments, as long as you have goods in your vehicle. The third force is organized lawbreakers and registered organizations. Whoever failed to dance by their rules, could end up paying with his or her life. Always remember, they are above the laws of the land.
Where Would That Control Come From?
Therefore, where would that control come from? Is it from the executive’s power that partakes of the dinner? Or the subordinate that eat from the crumble which falls dawn, from the master table?
There can never be a consensus solution to the problems of Nigeria. Because nobody comes to the central table with absolute solution credentials. Besides, there are many saboteurs on arrival at the venue of national affairs. Selfish interest is their primary focus.
Ask yourself, if you are that person, who took out over five hundred million naira, for a purpose. Won’t you be looking forward to the return of that money one day? Probably with profit.
